Coup d’état contre Hugo Chávez (2003)

Elected President of Venezuela in 1998, Hugo Chávez was deposed and imprisoned in 2002. However, popular pressure took him back again to his position. Chavez used arms at the age of 17 to combat guerrillas. After an attempt at a coup in 1992, he was sentenced to prison and quickly became the hero for the masses and built a populist image.
